Main Street needs volunteers!
Do you like to garden or decorate? Design Committee puts out street flowers, banners, decorations, gives out Facade Grants to businesses, works tirelessly to make Downtown beautiful!
The Farmers' Market is opening on June 14. We're looking for vendors with produce, arts, crafts, or gifts to sell.
Are you a writer, a money person, a tech whiz? We need office volunteers as well as writers, editors, and designers for newsletters, flyers, and posters.
Like to think about business and economic development? Our Economic Restructuring Committee provides a business-oriented newsletter, offers hands-on workshops for small business owners, and works to attract new services and merchants into town for the benefit of residents and businesses alike.
For the natural organizers and “people persons” among us, there’s the Organization Committee which handles recruitment, fundraising, and internal activities for the Main Street organization.
We maintain the Town Sign and the Gazebo in Chevron Park, and various other signs around town - want to help with that?
How are your party planning skills? Put them to work on Summer Concerts, fall Flea Market, or planning towards next year's 250th Anniversary activities.
Main Street has openings now for every committee as well as the Board of Directors. At the June 6th Annual Meeting, the Board will welcome new Board Members and committee members, and elect a new slate of officers for the organization. Whatever it is you do, we would be delighted to welcome you among our corps of volunteers. Join us!

Great Local Sales Opportunity! The 2012 Lisbon Farmers Market isn't just for farmers! Sell your art, crafts, foods or crops or - let your imagination be your guide! The Market will be open on Thursdays, 3 to 6 pm, starting June 14 and running through September 27. Lilac Update: 2012
Spring is Festival Time in Lisbon
You may have heard that there will be no Lilac Festival this year. Alas, that part is true - the three-day extravaganza known to all as Lilac Time will be on hiaitus again this year. However, a "neighbors helping neighbors" group of volunteers is planning an Old Home Day celebration on May 26, so get out your party shoes and mark the calendar in ink.
